How Dad’s Hot Sauce Began
For many years, my dad, Larry Marble Sr., made a hot sauce that the patrons of my restaurant loved. He grew Carolina Reaper peppers in his backyard and made some great hot sauce.
In the beginning, he would show up at my restaurant with a quart. Eventually, quarts became gallons. He later sourced the glass and started bottling and sealing it himself.
It was called Pirate’s Well Pepper Company. Guests were always looking for the perfect sauce to help flavor the savory dishes coming from our kitchen. My dad loved watching everyone enjoy his hot sauce.
